As a fan of early 90s US rock (and Oasis), I picked up this book to learn more about what was happening at the same time across the pond. John's writing made me wish that I could go back in time, open up my mind to the British scene, and dive into the Cool Britannia. I also love the authors writing style. Since beginning the book, I ended up becoming a full on Blur fan. Pulp and Elastica are next...
