The author has also managed to put together some basic biographies of the officer corps of the regiment, and he created a roster of the enlisted men as well. He also has included -- in the text itself -- various titles for further research.

For people who enjoy the details of life this is a revealing look into how New Hampshire recruited its citizens to fight in the Revolutionary War. Many of these citizens and leaders are memorialized in NHs sights, memorials, cities and towns. These brave citizens further impress my respect for the courage of these people and their willingness to "LIVE FREE or DIE". The soldiers' journals make one think of the hardships they all endured on a regular basis. I only wish that this kind of history were a requirement in our NH schools.
